Question
1.Alone 2. Paris/Bordeaux,France 3.Student 4.SocialScience & One income,

How can I find the cheapest fares to Bordeaux, France (or just to Paris) for December 20-25, 2005 (returning in June/July 2006) departing from Mexico City?  (I will be studying in France for a semester)

Answer
Hi Rafael:

My profile expertise is free global travel rather than shopping for cheapest tickets. With that said I have checked a bit and note that some sites say fares are not available more than 330 days out from departure. Other sites show high fares at about $1200u.s.

My basic advice when shopping for low fares is to do thorough and diligent web research. Stateside I advise to buy occasionally the NY and/or LA SUNDAY Times for their best in the U.S. Travel sections that often have great deals.

There used to be bargain airlines, Nouvelle frontiers and AOM airlines that were semi charters usually out of LA and had super low fares. You can check to see if they are still in service. Otherwise no majic formula or vendor so fare as I know for super low fares to Paris. Good Luck and sorry I could not offer more advice. Steve T.

Here is my free five page article on free global travel on my blog page at: www.cheapskatetravel.blogspot.com
Sadly many of these strategies will likely not work out of the U.S.
