Question
My husband and I are looking to go to Mexico, and we want the experience of staying at Secrets Capri in Maya Riviera for either 6 or 7 nights. However, we are on a budget and can't spend more than 3,000 dollars. We went to Jamaica and stayed at Couples resort for our honeymoon for 6 nights and only paid 2,800. It was amazing! The travel agent that we went through doesn't specialize in Mexico though, so we are unable to go through them. I've estimated pricing for this vacation and it seems way out of our price range. Is there any way to make this vacation possible?

Answer
Hi Kristy:

Let me know if I am missing something here...

Third web site I checked, for property called Secrets Capri Riviera (hopefully this is the same hotel you refer to), seems to show 7 nights including two free nights at about $990 Land per person and then lists AIR/LAND packages from various U.S. cities for between $1100 and $1500 per person. Here is the web page: http://plazatravelandtour.vacationport.net/vacations/default.asp?pid=6160

IF THIS is the package you are looking for I would  reiterate that I found this price with only 5 minutes of web research....so that you may well do better.

There is another way to possibly reduce the cost. We publish a newsletter. The current issue, yours FREE, has several FREE and awesome low priced Airline ticket deals. For example, you can 'buy' sign up for two Bank of America credit cards, ONE FOR EACH OF YOU, pay the hefty $90 fee and instantly receive 25,000 Bonus miles. Next, also apply for the Juniper Bank credit cards, one each, which are TOTALLY FREE, and receive another 15,000 Bonus miles. This  gives you each 40,000 miles good for a RT ticket to any Hawaiian Island and ALSO any Mexican destination (but do confirm the US Airways or its partners fly to your Mexico destination).  These deals take 4-8 weeks and then you can use the Mexico ticket awards for tickets at just $90 each.
