Question
I am very aware of dangers of sleeping in my car, but i travel  30 weekends out of a year, and sleeping in car is only thing ethical. As far as the subject of carbon monoxide, is it safe?

Answer
As far as the subject of carbon monoxide, is it safe? --> Yes if you don't run the engine. If you have the engine on, then have a large vent-area open with your windows. One of our subscribers to THE CARETAKER GAZETTE died from carbon monoxide poisoning a few years ago by sleeping in his van with his heater running in the winter time - so avoid doing the same. Take care,
