Question
Could you please tell me more information about free domestic travel.

I prefer starting to travel more national.

I am flying alone to NC with 2 incomes, but one is parttime.

Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hi Sallie:

Previously it might take 6 months to a year for a new comer to participate in free travel programs and line up their first free flights. Now, that time is greatly shortened to weeks or a few months for most. However, this may not be sufficient to cover an iminent trip such as your trip to NC.
So best to think of free travel as something you will be enjoying in the very near future.

In order to answer questions like yours I wrote a a lengthy article on free travel. The article is posted on my Blog and is, of courses,  available to you absolutely FREE. Toward the end of the article you will find my all important March 2006 UPDATE with great current free travel deals.

You will find my Free Travel Article at:

Do remember that FREE is sometimes relative. Meaning Patty and I just participated in a current deal, outlined in the article, and we shall each be receiving DOMESTIC US/CANADA ROUND TRIP TICKETS 100%FREE without spending a dime. On the other hand B of A has a deal that cost $90 and offers an immediate (perhaps 6-8 weeks processing time) ROUND TRIP DOMESTIC or Canada ticket that could be worth $400 - $700. For example: Since $90 is LESS than the cost of an outbound flight from SF to Orlando I would consider part of the outbound flight and the entire return flight FREE.

Once you've read the article or should you have any problem linking to the article feel free to contact me with any follow up questions you may have given your own circumstances and travel needs. Our web site has our contact information.

Good Luck and Happy Travels.
