Budget Travel/flying fares

Question
Hi Stephen-

I live in S Petersburg, Florida and want to fly out to Phoenix, Arizona this summer to visit family. Where can I find cheap air fares?

Thanks, Todd

Answer
Hi Todd:

For the most part we do not deal with airline tickets. With that said my preference, if I were buying a ticket, would be a relentless web search and possibly checking the LA and/or NY Times Sunday Travel sections, best in the US, which often have small consolidator ads. Check references and be consumer savvy. Another questioner just asked me about Priceline. If you have flexibility you can try naming your own price and see where that takes you.

On the flip side, possibly for your next trip, after Florida, I suggest flying FREE as WE DO.

To this end I've written an extensive article covering our best FREE travel stategies and offer it FREE to incoming questioners. I created a blob as the means of sharing the article. Feel free to follow up with any questions. Find my article at:  cheapskatetravel.blogspot.com
