hi ... i am trying to search for free companion air fares.  2 people/one way/27 Nov/lhr-bne.  dates are VERY flexible.

As noted by my profile our primary travel strategy is FREE GLOBAL TRAVEL. My travel guide also discusses free companion tickets which sometimes come to the 'saving big time' rescue. Since yours is an international quest there is little I can offer. I am constantly receiving British Airways companion offers but then again these usually apply to expensive tickets, like business class etc.

I have also noticed that companion ticket offers apply to 'return' ticketing rather than one way.
