Hi
My sister and I would like to travel to Lesvos during Easter '08. However we would really love to stay in a authentic little house/ motel ? with a seaview if possible.

Given your excellent island choice of Lesvos you are likely familiar with the Greek Islands. Well done!

Our criteria for a fun island visit is a small hotel with neat grounds and modest, lovely fresh water pool and also about one city block from a lovely beach (in this case St. Isadoris beach) and perhaps a one dollar taxi ride from the nearby charming town for evening walks and dinner at sea side colorful restaurants. Plus, as you noted, ocean views.
Sandy Bay came through on all these counts although rooms were typically European small. We booked the trip through GreeceAD.com However, this company seems to have new owners and so we can not vouch for them. Try TripAdvisor.com since that web site usually has great hotel ‘user’ reviews.
