Question
hi, i have two budgie eggs, i cant see red viens in them but can see a black spot at the bottom of the egg is this a fertile one

Answer
Hi, Ann,

I would have to know when these eggs were laid and whether the female has started the incubation process in order to answer your question.

Laid eggs don't start developing until incubation begins.  If these eggs were laid say 2 weeks ago, the hen has been incubating them, but you don't see red veins in the eggs, I'd say they probably aren't fertile.  As an egg is being incubated and the developing embryo is growing, the inside of the egg will "fill up" with the developing embryo and you won't be able to see into the egg at all.  This is why the additional information is needed.
