Question I got 2 pet budgies. About 2 or 3 months old but I don't know if there male or female. When I checked their cere their both brown and blue. So I don't know which is boy or girl
Answer Hi, Kabeer,
Your budgies at 2-3 months old aren't old enough yet to be visually sexed. Need to wait until they are about 3-4 months old, maybe older and/or after their first molt (at about 6 months of age), before you can sex them visually. Even then, depending on their phenotype (overall coloration), they may be difficult to sex visually. You might need to consider DNA sexing if either of these birds are mostly white and/or have mostly white genes in their genetic makeup. An experienced bird keeper might be able to sex them by their behavior with each other as they grow older.
