Budgies/A budgie biting

Question
When I put my hand in my budgie's(Oscar)cage he bites me.He is only a baby but I don't know why he is doing this.

Answer
Hi Jamie.

I think Oscar is just afraid of you. Try and leave your hand in the cage for 10 minutes a day, everyday. He will soon get used to the presence of your hand, and you can move to further things like trying to take him out.

10 minutes may seem like a long time, but I promise you wont regret it when he starts to like your hand.

Hope I Helped!
