Question
Ughhh i hate chris he never here always on vacation......
Well anyway
im breeding my parakeets and 2 ehhs hatched and 1 baby is 13 days old and the other is about 9 days old can i take the 3 non fertile eggs out yet or no

Answer
Hello Alex. Sorry to hear your a bit frusterated with Chris, I'm sure he'll be back soon. If you can, I would advise you sneak the eggs out while the parents arent looking. Possibly while there feeding. This is a hard thing to do though, because usually the parents are always going to be watching or one will be in the nest while the other is feeding and such. However, as long as the mother sees that her two hatchlings are ok, I'm sure she will be fine after a bit of a fuss in seeing her eggs are gone. So, to answer your question, yes, take them out. If you leave them in there too long it they could rot and pose a threat to the already hatched nest mates.

Hope this Helps Alex. Good Luck!
