Question
I just got a male hand reared budgie froma  bird sale. He is pretty tame but nervous. i'm nervous too, what if he becomes really untamed when i put him in the aviary with the other birds? even if i play with him? also he has  severly clipped wings. will this cause a problem?
thanks!

Answer
Hello Caitlin! Let his wings grow out, I dont beleive in clipping them unless your going to be having him in your home and having him out with you. When you put him in the aviary there is 100% chance that he will become non-tame. He will only enjoy bonding with his fellow keets, he will want nothing to do with the human kind. If you want him to remain tame, I would suggest you keep him by himself in his own cage as a family bird.

Thanks Caitlin. Hope I helped!
