Question
about a week ago my male parakeet was staying at the bottom of cage i took him out and it looked like he had a stroke... the female gets very upset if i remove him.. he eats and drinks but looks like he has had a stroke and maybe blind... what do you think it is?

Answer
Hello Connie. Its hard to diagnose the sickness of a budgie who shows no outer physical signs of disease. He may have had a stroke, and this is what my theory would be, just as it is yours. Often times Budgies try and hold on even if they arnt feeling very well until they just dont have any energy anymore. In the wild, to be the weak one, means to be eaten. Take your Budgie to the vet asap.

Hope This Helps. Thanks.
