thank you

Answer
Hello Mubeen!
Congrats on your clutch!
The female will always stay in the nest with the eggs as she needs to keep them at a constant temp or the babies will not hatch. The male will eat food from the bowl, and then feed the female from his mouth as he comes and goes inside the nest to her.
Lighting does not effect the parakeets, however it shouldnt be PITCH black in the room and it shouldnt be too light in there either.

Everything is going as planned with your keets. When the eggs hatch, the female will come out and feed for herself, as well as go back in the nest to feed the chicks the same way the male fed her while she wasw in the nest sitting on the eggs.

Good Luck!
