Question

lovebirds beaks
To Whom it may concern:

We recently got four peach face lovebirds. I just recently noticed that their beaks are changing colors, kinda like how our teeth look discolored. Is this normal?

Thanks for your time!

Answer
 Hello,

Yes a birds beak is like a our toe/finger nails, they will change appearance as they age and look a little different color/texture. The only thing that should concern you would be cracked or split beaks, or beaks that are growing in a fashion that prevents the bird from eating.

Best of luck!
