Question
my rainbow attack my budgie whilst in his cage, Al noted that his nail had blood on it Al have been bathing the foot. The nail has gone black and is falling off.The budgie is still getting around fine should Al cut the nail or just leave it there is no infection .

Answer
Karen,

At this point it would probably be good to go ahead and cut the nail off. It would really be no issue unless he gets his nail caught on something in the cage and causes his foot to bleed again. Cutting the nail would prevent a new injury from occuring to the same toe/foot because of it.
