Question
Hi Chris,
I have a mixed aviary of Cockatiels, Red Rumps, budgies and Japanese quail. All seems well, they all seem content and are all laying. I'm thinking of introducing a pair of Rosa Bourkes to the aviary. I've heard two complete opposite opinions. One; should be no problem atall. Two; Rosa are not suitable to be mixed with Budgies or cockatiels. Please give me your opinion to decide issue. I want the Rosa Bourkes even if I have to house them separate in a cage.

Answer
Karl,

5 different people will give you 5 different opinions. I have personally had no problems with a mixed aviary, some have. You will just have to try it and see if it works out. I would have a backup plan/ aviary or cage before doing it, just incase!
