How long after the first egg is laid, does it take for budgie eggs to hatch?

Hi, Garnet,

It takes about 18 days from the date continuous INCUBATION begins for a budgie egg to hatch, if the egg is fertile and develops properly.  The count down does not start when an egg is laid.  The female usually doesn't start continuous incubation until the second egg is laid.
