Budgies/Eggs

Question
Hi, I was just wondering how long it takes for an egg to hatch. My budgie has laid five eggs, all on every other day (odds). So if what I heard was right (18 days) than the first will be hatched on the first on March. Is that right?

Answer
Hi, Meg.  Thanks for posting!

It takes about 18 days from the date the female starts incubating the eggs, if the egg(s) are fertile and/or develop properly during incubation.  I don't know about the first of March, as I don't know when the eggs started being incubated.
