My husband and I are huge Jimmy Buffett fans and Parrotheads.  We have recently moved to Modesto, California from Orange County, California where we were members of the OCPHC. We have found the Changes in Latitudes Bay Area (San Francisco) Parrothead Chapter but they are about 100 miles north of Modesto which sometimes is impossible to attend their functions.  My question is this:  What are the requirements necessary to start a Parrothead Chapter?  Thank you for your time and input...Diane

In order to start a Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc chapter you should contact Marc Schlessinger (MarcSharky@aol.com), he's the Director of Membership and can give you all the details of starting a club.  I think you need to be at least 50 miles from another club that exsists.
