Question
Hi, I was wondering if you could help me out with something. I never was that interested in Buffy the vampire slayer before probably becasue I was too young to watch the show, but now the summer has come along and its being shown again. I actually really like everything about the show Especially the music that plays.

My question was could you help me find the Name/ Title of the Song thats playing in the unaired pilot episode of Buffy, its when Buffy just left the library when she saw giles, shes in class and its just a panorama scene of her. The song is sang be a female. I can't seem to find who sang this song and I really want it. I would really appricate your help, thanks.

Answer
Ok, so I know it has been a year since the question was asked, but I never received a copy. I just saw it today when I logged on for something else. I am so sorry about that. I know that you have probably looked for and found the answer somewhere else, but I would still like to post and answer just in case you were unsuccessful in you hunt for the answer.

According to Wikipedia the songs that played during the pilot are:
Rancid - "Salvation" - Plays as Buffy enters high school
Dionne Farris - "I Know" - The song plays as we're first introduced to Xander and Willow
Stone Temple Pilots - "Lady Picture Show" - The song plays as Buffy waits in line to enter The Bronze, talking with Jonathan.
Bob Mould - "See a Little Light" - The song that plays at the end of the episode as Buffy throws the stake at the poster.

Again sorry it took so long for me to post an answer to your quesiton.

Expertise

I watched Buffy since the very first episode, and as soon as they started the Angel spin-off, I started watching it also. I have a very good overview off all the things that has happened on the show in the past. I can answer things like what episode did certain events happen, or what exactly happened. I can answer many things about character bios, but I`m not really good at cast bios (I don`t really get into their personal lives). I also know where the best places are to find information, if I don`t have it with me right off hand.

Experience

The amount of experience that I have on this subject, comes from watching every episode. I have record all of the episodes on tape plus I have the entire series on DVD, so I can look up answers if I don't know them. I also know the best web sites to look to and I have a notebook full of episode guides and information on the characters. Plus, since the show started if a friend of mine missed an episode, they ran to me for an update, so I have answered a lot of questions already. All of this also goes for Angel also.
