Answer
Hello Jennifer,

The problem with the books is that they're not exactly written in any coherent way to reflect the seasons as they happened. The characters vary from book to book, and the themes and storyline in each book differ greatly from one to another.

The best way I've managed to figure it out is to go by characters. For instance, we know that OZ is introduced to us in the third season, as is Faith and Weasley. The best way to figure it out? Read the back and see which characters are mentioned, and you'll have a rough timeline.

Hope this helps!

Josh.
