Was a new slayer chosen when Buffy died in "The Gift?"

Hello Janine,

This question had me confused for a while after I saw "the gift" myself, but it actually pre-dates the episode. Remeber in season one where Buffy died and Xander did CPR to bring her back? Because she died, she called Faith to be her next slayer. However, the way it works, is that Faith will have to die in order for the next one to be called, because dying and comming back made Buffy unique. Faith is alot like a balance of the slayer cycle while Buffy is a resurrected slayer twice.
