My 2000 LeSabre trunk lid keeps opening on it's own while parked. It happens in different locations in different towns. It has the keyless remote and I have made sure they are were not accidently activated.

I could give you some highly technical explanation, but simply put, the receiver is probably keyed close enough to a cell phone frequency, or other microwave freq. that it picks it up an reads it as an open command.Try having the codes changed by the dealer.
