Question A few times in the last week, when I started the Alero, I noticed that neither my dash lights nor my air blower came on. Additionally, my headlights did not go on automatically as usual, but they worked if I turned them on manually. I turned it off and restarted, and all was fine. Do you know what could be causing this?
Answer It could be a loose connection somewhere in the system, or even a fuse that is getting corroded. Also, check your battery cables for any corrosion...clean them and tighten them. It is possible that some moisture (humidity) has worked it's way into the sensor...if all else fails, try turning the lights on and off several times manually.
Most general "how to" questions, "what does this mean", timing and engine repair, tuneup, brakes, lights.
