can i add on a bunch of rooms and stuff to a manufactured home well make there rooms bigger and add a den to it with a fire place i am disabled and need the doors to be bigger openings to get through them a wheelchair that is,,, is there a limit to what we can have put in we live in tennessee and also want to make it a permanit foundation around the manufactured home i figured it would be easier to build onto a manufactured home then take it away and just build a new house in all what is your thought on this or should i buy another manufactured home and add it on to what i have now or have some one special build a add on to go to the house we have now make make rooms bigger and add a den with fire place and juccuzi in the den what would be easier to do and cheaper to reach thanks scott

Answer
Hi Scott,
I really feel you would get a much better home if you took the mobile home away and got someone to build a new place with all you need.
Adding onto an existing home or trailer seems to always wind up having problems. A new home would be more efficient, all on one level and I know you'll be happier with the end product.
If this option isn't affordable, you'll have to go the route you suggested. Just make sure everytrhing is on the same foundation
and for your convenience,on one level.

Best of luck!
