Question
I am going to be putting an addition on my mobile home and im not sure how to attach the roof I have few ideas but ive never done this before and would like some expert advice

Answer
Ryan, this needs to be well worked out before you begin.  The issues are identical to working with any roof.  You need sufficient fall to get water off the roof.  Is the existing roof a gabel or a bow top?  Mobile homes have very minimal pitch so will require a major rework if you are extending to either side.  Perhaps you can build a new ridge on the existing sidewall and pitch one side of the gabel over the additon and the other over the existing roof.  If you keep the existing ridge line, the head clearance on the addition will need to be shorter.  YOu will be cutting into the existing roof no matter how you approach.
