What is (or what should it be) the cost per sq. foot for a 2-story addition in central NJ?

Wow Kim,
Thats a hard one...so many variables...
any cabinetry? type of flooring, interior and exterior finish,
large windows, masonry, etc.
I can say that it should be between $85.00 and $150.00 but thats pretty vague.
My advice would be to get yourself a plan and present it to SEVERAL contractors...that'll give you a much better idea.
Be sure and be as detailed as you can, that way there will be more accurate proposals.
