A friend once told me that baking soda is an effective method of ant control. Have you had any experience with such unorthodox methods of extermination?

I'm from Maine too, but have never heard of this!! I do know that planting tansy around your house will deter them...best of luck, Dave

On second thought, I think if you're having serious ant problems, Why don't you burn the place and start over? This has always worked for me...
