Building Homes or Extensions/Interior door swings shut

Question
I have an interior door leading from my kitchen area into the utility room that swings shut and will not stay open unless it is propped open.  It is a solid, 6-panel door.  It has been doing this "forever", and I was hoping that someone (you) might be able to give some advice on fixing it myself.   Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Answer
David, I sure don't want this to sound too simple.  Remove the pin from the top hinge.  Catch it in a heavy vise or lay it on concrete or steel.  Hit it hard enough to bend it slightly.  Reinstall.  Everything should be fixed, but a 6 panel solid door is heavy, you might want to do both the top and center hinge.

This is the most simple, there are some more complicated things to attempt, but let's just try this first.
