Question
Dan:

Hello.  I built a raised floor storage building 12' x 10'  I built the floor with #2 southern pine, 2x10 lumber (non treated).  The outer perimeter 2x10's are secured to 4x4s (6, 4x4's in all on the 12' span) with 1/2" x 5" lag bolts on the 12' run.  The shorted 10' 2x10's are on 16" center and are on Joice hangers along with 2, 4" lag bolts at the end of each Joice for extra support.   For flooring I put down 3/4" tong & grove plywood to help with weight distribution.   I want to park my small tractor (1,180 pounds) on this floor.  Is my structure adequate to handle this weight?  I hope I made a good enough description.

Answer
Lester, I like to use this span table:

YOur number 2 yellow pine 2x10s should be able to take 100 pounds per square foot, so the total shed should be able to carry 12,000 pounds uniformly distributed.  YOur tractor is NOT a uniformly distributed load, but should be ok.  You might add a sheet of 3/4 ply where the tractor sits to spread the concentrated load and prevent the wheel load from deflecting the single layer of plywood between joists.
