Question
Bruce - I am trying to get pricing for the installation of standard 4 x 8 x 1/2" sheetrock and the cost of 3 coats of tape and spackle. I can't seem to get a straight answer from anybody.  Thank you for any help you can provide.

Answer
Hi Rob, who are you talking to?  A sheetrock contractor local to your area should be able to give you some idea of the cost.  If you need a big room done with a standard 8' ceiling,  few wrapped windows, doors and other cutting is kept to a minimum then the price will be a lot different than a small room with a lot of cutting and bead/corner work and a high ceiling.  Cost per board could vary from 20-50 dollars depending on the quantity and availability of labor and what level of finish you are looking for. A board is usually 4'x12'.  I hope this information helps feel free to write again regarding this or other matters, sincerely bruce e johnson..bejohnsonconsulting.com
