Question
Hi Bruce,

I have a house which is about 100 yrs old with a stone and block foundation, the basement windows are 30" wide and I cant seem to find a window to fit it seems as though 32" is standard is there a company that makes a window that is less than 32" wide?

Thanks Scott

Answer
Hi Scott, have you done much research on the web?  Most window manufacturers have sizes that will fit any opening.  I install 30" and smaller windows all the time. Your best bet is to go to a local Glass company and have them find a replacement window to fit.  Or they can build you some.  Home Depot, Lowes and Sears are other good alternatives.  Sit down with a window rep and they can hook you up.   I hope this information helps feel free to write again regarding this or other matters, sincerely, bruce e johnson..bejohnsonconsulting.com
