Question
Where can i get a detail of an LVL beam to remove a bearing wall?
The 2nd floor joists run parallel to the beam.
I tried Google & could'nt fin any

Answer
desgnr, how sure are you that you are dealing with a load bearing wall?  As a general rule if the joists are running parallel to the wall in question, it is NOT load bearing.  Is there something else bearing on this wall?

If nothing is resting on the wall in question, you can remove it without compromising anything.  The one exception to this statement would be if it is a seismic or shear wall.  If it is, it will have plywood or wafer board on both sides of the wall covered by drywall.

When you ask for a detail, are you asking for the dimensions available?
