Building Homes or Extensions/Siding insulation

Question
I am having CertainTeed Monogram vinyl siding installed on one side of my home due to wind damage.   My contract quotes a price using the Amocor foam board and now the salesman says that this was a "Typo" in the contract and that they will be using Tyvek wrapping.  He intially told me that the Tyvek was $325 less than the foam board.  He now says that Tyvek and the foam board costs the same.  Does it cost the same?  Thanks

Answer
Hi Debra,
Sorry this took so long...been away.

The foam board is more expensive and takes a little longer to install. Sounds like hes trying to save a buck.

Call locally to a materials yard and ask for specific pricing, then approach him with your numbers.
