Building Homes or Extensions/studs

Question
what kind of studs and nails do I need to hang it to a concrete or masonry wall?

Answer
Hi dave, what are you trying to hang on a concrete or masonry wall?  Your question is not too informative.  If you are attaching studs to the wall then you need to use pressure treated wood and I recommend using tapcon masonry screws as opposed to nails.  But if you want to use nails then a cut nail or concrete nail will work..make sure the nail is at least an inch and a quarter longer than the wood is deep..same for the tapcon..I hope this information helps feel free to write again regarding this or other matters, sincerely bruce e johnson..bejohnsonconsulting.com
