Building Homes or Extensions/Covering t-111 indoors

Question
About 23 years ago we added a sunroom off our house and did the interior in T-111. It has served us well but now we are tired of it. Short of re walling the interior what can I do to cover it. Should I consider paint, Interior stain or covering it.
Also how much damage could this type of rustic panelling have done to our health/or not? and should we cover it?
Thx for your advice

Answer
Hi Rich, not sure where you are coming from on the Health issue..As far as I know there is no health problem associated with T-111.  It is just plywood.  As far as covering it goes, you can drywall over it, panel over it or paint it.  Your choice.  I hope this information helps feel free to write again regarding this or other matters, sincerely bruce e johnson..bejohnsonconsulting.com
