Building Homes or Extensions/cement settling

Question
I have a concrete porch which has a slab extension of about 4' by 8' which is abiyt 4 inches thick set on a rock wall  as a foundation on two sides of the slab extension.  The slab extension has settled about 1 1/2 where the slab meets the existing porch.  Can cement be poured over the slab extension to level it with the existing porch?  The house I live in was built in the 1940's.

Answer
g,  the proper thing to do would be to remove and replace.  If you just want to get some usability  from the situation, you can add concrete on top.  It is very difficult to get new concrete to stick to old concrete.  There are several topping cements that will work well if you do enough surface preparation.

Here is one I would recommend:
Mapei Planipatch

You can plan on several years even through freeze thaw cycles.
