Question
I would like to build a concrete slab for my garbage cans and other outdoor equipment. The problem I am am having is how do I attached it to my sidewalk which is also made of concrete?

Answer
Hi Celia, you don't need to connect to the existing concrete.  Just make sure your sub grade (the ground you pour the new concrete on) is packed solidly, compacted and you will have no problems..I hope this information helps feel free to write again regarding this or other matters, sincerely bruce e johnson..bejohnsonconsulting.com
