Building Homes or Extensions/roof insulation

Question
I need to improve my loft insulation as the electrician who recently fitted ceiling lights has removed the insuation to allow heat to dissipate. Are there any cones or wire cones to hold insulation off the lights and stop overheating?

Answer
Martin, this is often dealt with by making a drywall box to keep the insulation a safe distance from the light fixture.  Insulation contractors have some premade boxes.  YOu can use round duct pipe (I don't know why I assumed round can lights).  Extend the duct or box higher than the insulation level and leave the top open to vent the light fixture.  Caulk any openings in the drywall/plaster that let you lose room conditioning.
