Building Homes or Extensions/Brick ties

Question
Either the brick ties on the front of my house have come loose or were never installed by the builder.  Is there a solution short of dismantling and re-bricking?

Answer
Dennis, you don't tell what the symptom is.  If the brick is pulling away from the house you may have movement in the footing in addition to the brick tie problem.  If it is a matter of wanting to hold things where they are now, there are several manufacturers of brick tie retrofit.

One I have seen used is from Simpson:

Hope this helps.
