Question
i own a 20 yr old mobile home and my brother gave me his old one.  both are in good shape.  his old one needs a bit of work but the structure is good.  what do i need to connect them.  You know expand mine by using the other?  How would i seal them together?

Answer
Lou, this will require some strong planning.  I'm not sure what your existing siding might be and I don't know if the trailers are the same length and height.  You're primary concern will be to match the floor levels and to match up as many openings as possible.  You will probably be best off leaving the studs on each trailer while removing the exterior siding.  Any new openings will need headers.  I think you need to plan on a new roof that covers both units, probably using gable trusses that are well attached to their new outside walls.
