Question
I am replacing broken siding from hail damage.  Should i also replace the house wrap?  The house wrap has no holes exept the nail holes from the old siding.

Answer
Hi barry, if you have the old siding off it wouldn't hurt to stick a new layer of house wrap on over the top of the old wrap as long as the old wrap isn't all wrinkled and bunched up.  Otherwise you may need to pull off the old wrap and redo it on the side you residing.  I hope this information helps feel free to write again regarding this or other matters, sincerely bruce e johnson..bejohnsonconsulting.com
