anil, I don't have any way to answer this one for you.  It sounds like a homework problem that requires you to do a bit of research, I would hate to deprive you of the exercise.

Here are a few thoughts about possible foundations:

*Spread footing with stem wall used to distribute loads to soil.
*Pier and grade beam or pilings to access good bearing.
*Monolithic slab
*Bearing pads

There are reasons to use each type.  The reasons are usually cost, workforce knowledge, material availability, soil type.
