Question
Hello!i have a brick and cement indian  house whose roof starts leaking after 2-3 days of rain ?can u help pls.

Answer
Anabelll, roof leaks can be difficult to find.  If yours only shows up after severqal days of rain, it will be very difficult to find.  The beginning clues will be that it must be at or above the visible leak.

I assume there is an attic that you can access to see the water entry point.  Usual culprits:
Ridge line
Valley line
Pipe penetrations and their flashings
Skylights and their flashings
Chimneys and their flashings

Once you have found signs of water (stains, etc) you can concentrate on that area and points above that area.  It is best when you can use a garden hose to force the leak as you can narrow its location down.  If you have performed a repair, you can check with a garden hose.
