Building Homes or Extensions/building a shelter

Question
Hello Dave..
I'm doing a design AS and the project is about designing and making a shelter. I just wanted to ask you what materials would you use to make a bus stops, as well as how would you manufacture it, and prevent it from the vandalism?

An answer would be very appreciated ..

Answer

bus stop
Hi Alex, I would probably build a bus stop out of aluminum tubing and polycarbonate panels.  The aluminum for durability and the polycarbonate panels for durability and visibility.  Nothing is ever vandal proof.  To protect the polycarbonate panels you could add a layer of thin plexiglass to each side that could be replaceable over time. Use of tamperproof stainless hardware would attach the panels to the aluminum.  See attached drawing..sincerely bruce e johnson..bejohnsonconsulting.com
