Question
i am extending my one car garage to a two car. what size microlam is needed to span the 16' door opening with attic space above?
Hi willie, that information is generally available from the microlam manufacturer but 3.5" x 16" should work ok. You might be able to get by with a 3.5" x 12" depending on the use of the attic space.
