Building Homes or Extensions/Driveway stenciling

Question
Assuming that the driveway is prepped properly, is there a longevity and/or maintenance issue that may dis-suade me from taking on this project.I have also read that staining or dyeing may be a better way to go , rather than paint. What do you think?
Chuck

Answer
Hi Chuck, it all depends on the look you want.  Paints are solid and cover imperfections better but also show wear more quickly and need to be touched up every few years.  Staining and dyeing are a little more penetrating and the color goes deeper into the concrete but it is more translucent and imperfections in the concrete can show through.  I hope this information helps, please feel free to write again regarding this or other matters, sincerely bruce e johnson..bejohnsonconsulting.com
