Hello, Mr. Johnson,
three roof trusses of our new home were damaged during the construction. they are repaired, but we want them to be replaced, make it like the original condition. could you make a guess what a cost(labor) will it be in general?  thanks a lot, really appreciate it.

Hi Alan, I'm not sure why a truss repair is cause for alarm.  Most truss companies perform field repairs which are designed by an engineering program and they should be just as functional as the original truss and in many cases stronger than the original.  To rip out a truss and replace it after the building is completed can cost several thousands of dollarsper truss because the roof will have to be opened up, the old trusses removed and the new trusses installed, the new roof repaired etc.  If there is interior drywall already in place add another couple of thousand.   I hope this information helps, feel free to write again regarding this or other matter, sincerely bruce e johnson.
