Question
I'm building a outdoor shed on cement piers 6 inchs off the ground. I get some water run off that goes under the shed when it rains hard. What type of flooring should I use for dampness?
dvantech plywood, regular plywood or what ? Should I spray water water repellent on the underside of the plywood? Their in no direct contact with water just dampness.

Answer
Bob, does the water stand under the building or does it run through?  The best solution would be to direct the water around the building.  Another solution would be to set a drain pipe under the building and direct the water to, through, and out from under the building.  As to what material, you might consider treated plywood on treated joists.

Any cuts or edges and, even, the full sheets can be treated with one of the Pentachlorophenol products.

Hope this helps
